Blonde Porter

We wanted to deconstruct the flavor profile of a porter and recreate those flavors without using the traditional roasted malts to create a light blonde colored, full flavored beer. We used oats and wheat to build a full creamy body aged with coffee and chocolate for a rich roasted aroma and robust finish.

Skip the plane ticket and spend a Night in Nola with Perrin Brewing! The next beer dinner is inspired from the traditional New Orleans cuisine from gumbo to banana foster.

4-course meal paired with a Perrin beer

Creole Charcuterie Boards
Assorted meats and cheese, pickled vegetables, roasted nuts, etc.

Course 1 – Classic Gumbo
Our take on this New Orleans staple. An aromatic stew made with okra, andouille sausage, chicken and the “Creole trinity” – onion, bell pepper, and celery.
Paired with No Problems Session IPA

Course 2 – Crawfish Pie
Crawfish tails in a delicious roux made with tomatoes, onions and red bell peppers in a pastry crust. Served with a drizzle of Creole sauce.
Paired with Ain’t No Sunshine

Course 3 – Shrimp Etoufee
A down-home Louisiana dish with shrimp, celery, onion, and green pepper in a savory gravy. Served over “dirty” rice with southern greens and sweet corn maque choux on the side.
Paired with Lil’ Griz

Course 4 – Banana Foster
The classic dessert prepared with a Perrin twist. Bananas in a delicious sauce made with brown sugar, butter, Perrin Kingdom of Tonga Vanilla Porter and dark rum. Served warm over creamy vanilla ice cream.
