Blonde Porter

We wanted to deconstruct the flavor profile of a porter and recreate those flavors without using the traditional roasted malts to create a light blonde colored, full flavored beer. We used oats and wheat to build a full creamy body aged with coffee and chocolate for a rich roasted aroma and robust finish.

When warmer weather calls, Perrin Brewing Company answers with two summery IPAs. The brewery announces the debut of Call Me Hazy – Juicy IPA, the first release in the brewery’s new rotating IPA series; and the return of Grapefruit IPA, a seasonal favorite. Call Me Hazy – Juicy IPA and Grapefruit IPA will be available at the Perrin Pub in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans starting March 19, with Michigan-wide distribution to follow.

Call Me Hazy – Juicy IPA is a juiced up IPA packed full of intense hops for a hazy, complex brew with a bright finish at 7.5% ABV. The brew kicks off Perrin’s new rotating Call Me Hazy IPA series, which will allow Perrin’s brewers to explore the breadth and depth of hop flavor.

“The Call Me Hazy IPA Series will present rotating IPAs throughout the year with a focus on a hazy profile,” said John Stewart, Director of Brewing Operations for Perrin Brewing. “The first release is Call Me Hazy – Juicy IPA, crafted with specialty hops and select malts for an extremely juicy finish. This rotating IPA series will be an enjoyable addition to the IPA line-up this year.”
